Using ChatGPT with Abacor (MCP Integration)

What ChatGPT can do with Abacor

ChatGPT has read access to your Abacor workspace and can:

• Find and summarize meetings — past or upcoming, filtered by date range, attendee, contact, or organization. ChatGPT can pull summaries, action items, transcripts (when verbatim quotes are needed), and structured insights like decisions, sentiment, risks, and wins.

• Search across meeting content — full-text search over notes, transcripts, and summaries to find when a topic came up.

• Look up contacts and organizations — pull profiles, recent meeting history with that person or company, and any open action items linked to them.

• List and filter action items — by assignee, due date, status, meeting, or contact. Defaults to your own open items unless you specify otherwise.

• Identify workspace members — useful when you want to filter by a teammate's name.

ChatGPT does not create, edit, or delete anything in Abacor. This is a read-only integration today.

Tips for better results

• Be specific about time windows. "Last week," "this quarter," and explicit dates all work — ChatGPT will use your local timezone.

• Name people or companies directly. ChatGPT will resolve names to the right contact, organization, or workspace member.

• Ask follow-ups. ChatGPT can drill from a list of meetings into the full summary, action items, transcript, or insights of any one of them without you re-stating context.

• Combine Abacor with other Apps. If you also have Gmail, Calendar, or Drive connected, ChatGPT can blend sources — e.g., "draft a follow-up email based on the action items from my last meeting with Acme."

Troubleshooting

• ChatGPT says it can't find something you know exists. Try rephrasing with a date range, attendee email, or organization name. Fuzzy search works well but exact matches help.

• Results look stale. Abacor data syncs continuously, but a meeting that just ended may take a few minutes to appear with its full summary and action items.

• Permissions. ChatGPT only sees what your Abacor account can see. If a meeting or contact isn't visible to you in Abacor, it won't be visible to ChatGPT either.
