Getting started with a lite seat - FAQ

Lite Seats give your team members access to Abacor without the ability to send the meeting assistant into calls. They're a great option for team members who need to review meeting notes, transcripts, and action items — but don't need to record meetings themselves.

How Lite Seats Work

A Lite Seat is a scaled-back version of a standard Abacor seat. Lite Seat users cannot send the Abacor meeting assistant into calls and have view-only access to their contacts and meetings that have been shared with them.

Lite Seat users can:

  • View their contacts

  • View meetings that have been shared with them, including transcripts, notes, and action items

Who should use a Lite Seat?

Lite Seats are ideal for team members who need visibility into client meetings but aren't the ones running or recording them. Common examples include:

  • Firm leadership who want to stay informed across client engagements

  • Team members who need to review notes and action items from meetings they didn't attend

How do I assign a Lite Seat?

An admin on your account can assign Lite Seats when inviting new team members or by updating an existing member's seat type from the team management settings.

Can a Lite Seat user be upgraded to a full seat?

Yes. An admin can upgrade a Lite Seat to a full seat at any time from the team management settings. The user will then be able to send the Abacor meeting assistant into their calls.
