Step 1: Start Your Meeting
Begin your meeting as usual with Abacor enabled. The meeting assistant will automatically start recording and transcribing once the meeting begins.
Step 2: Access the Action Bar
During the meeting, open the Action Bar at the bottom of your screen. This is where you’ll find controls for pausing, resuming, and stopping the assistant.
Step 3: Pause the Recording
Click Pause to temporarily stop Abacor from recording and transcribing. This is useful for off-topic discussions or sensitive information.
Step 4: Resume the Recording
When you’re ready to continue, click Resume to start recording and transcribing again.
Step 5: Stop the Meeting Assistant
Click Stop to end the meeting assistant completely. Once stopped, Abacor will finalize the recording, transcript, and AI-generated notes.
Troubleshooting
Action Bar not visible:
The Action Bar only appears during an active meeting with Abacor enabled. Try moving your cursor to the bottom of your meeting window or expanding the window to full screen.Pause/Resume buttons missing:
Make sure Abacor is actively recording the meeting. If it hasn’t started recording, the controls won’t be available.Pause isn’t stopping transcription:
Pausing only affects recording and transcription from the moment you click it. Any content captured before pausing will remain in the transcript.Stop button behavior:
Clicking Stop will end Abacor’s recording for that meeting. To record again, you’ll need to start a new meeting.
