1. Will my teammates see the contacts I add to Abacor?

No. Any contacts you manually add in Abacor are private to your account. They will not be visible to your teammates unless they were imported from your practice management tool.

2. What happens if I import contacts from my practice management tool?

Contacts imported from your practice management tool will show up in your Abacor account and also be visible to your teammates who are connected to the same workspace. This ensures firm-wide consistency.

3. Can I create my own personal or private contacts?

Yes. You can create private contacts directly in Abacor. These contacts are only visible to you and won’t be shared with your team members.

4. Why don’t I see my teammate’s contacts in Abacor?

Currently, contacts in Abacor are managed individually. Unless a contact was imported from your practice management tool, you won’t be able to see contacts that your teammate added manually.

5. Can my teammates see the meetings or notes I log in Abacor?

No. Your meetings and notes are private unless you choose to push them into your practice management tool. Only then will your teammates see them in that system’s timelines.

6. If my teammate imports contacts from the practice management tool, will I see them in my Abacor account?

No. Only the contacts you personally import will appear in your account. Your teammate’s imports won’t sync to your Abacor account automatically.

7. How do I keep client details consistent between Abacor and my practice management tool?

If a contact was imported from your practice management tool, updates like name, email, or phone number must be edited directly in that tool. Those changes will then sync back into Abacor to maintain consistency.

8. Can I share a private contact with my team?

Not directly. To make a contact visible to your team, you’ll need to create or update that contact in your practice management tool, then re-import into Abacor.

9. What happens if I delete a contact in Abacor?

Deleting a private contact will only remove it from your personal Abacor account. It won’t affect your practice management tool or your teammates’ accounts.

10. Can I have both private and practice management tool contacts in my account?

Yes. You can maintain a mix of private contacts that only you see, and practice management tool-imported contacts that sync firm-wide.

11. Why can’t I edit certain fields (like name or email) for a contact?

If you’re unable to edit details such as a contact’s name or email, it means the profile was imported from your practice management tool. To keep information consistent across both platforms, edits to these fields must be made directly in your practice management tool. Once updated there, the changes will automatically sync back into Abacor within an hour.
